What the Greeks have taught me

In my English culture we are very structured. If we have 4 people coming over for dinner, we make 4 servings of food. Elbows are off the table. You only start eating once everyone is seated.

It all changed when I married my wife. When her family gets together, it's her closest 18 family members...

With so many people, it's about sitting down and tucking in, regardless of whether everyone has dished up yet. If there's 18 people for lunch, you cook for 30:

And being Greek Easter this past Sunday, it was also about the tradition of cracking red eggs...

When I watched my Big Fat Greek Wedding 15 years ago, I had no idea that one day, I would be THAT guy!
